Band Fees
Having fielded several questions about the Band Fees, it's clear there is some confusion. The Band Fee of $250 is NOT collected by the school at schedule pick-up. That fee must be paid directly to Mr. Elliott --- checks made to Cooper Band. These funds are NOT managed by the Boosters; we are separate entity. Mr. Elliott uses these funds to purchase music, make minor repairs to school owned instruments, provide buses for trips (recruiting at the middle school, festival at NKU), make small equipment purchases, etc.
Again, checks should be made payable to Cooper Band & delivered to Mr. Elliott. If you need to discuss your payment, click here to contact him by email.
The concession stand link has all activities including the schedule for workers. Please use this and volunteer to work one of the events comming up. We have many openings that need to be filled. Contact use at president@cooperband.org to volunteer.
"Ride Share"
Are there times that your student needs a ride to or from rehearsal? Are you able to provide rides to others who may need one? Would you LOVE to work out a carpool with other band families in your general neighborhood so you don't have to do it all?!
We're going to TRY to organize a Ride Share --- a listing of members who can provide rides for others. Then YOU can make contact with them in the event your student is in need of a ride to rehearsal!
If you're interested in participating, please send me the following information:
- Student's name
- Parents
- Phone Number
- General Location
- Restrictions
For example: Suzy Saxophone's parents are Sammy & Shirley. Their phone number is 859/384-SAX1. They live in the Woodwind subdivision but also pass through the Brass neighborhood. Because they have a small car, they can only take 2 other students & can only provide rides after 5:00 PM.
We are only gathering & providing the information --- we will NOT be making the arrangements for your rides.
